Project Walk for Water
Liza was shocked to learn that one billion people worldwide lack access to clean drinking water. This realization prompted her to act to bring greater awareness to this issue and to work to change this reality. Liza brought her passion and energy to the annual Walk for Water event that raises both awareness and funds to combat the lack of access to clean water across developing countries.
The sponsorship program Liza initiated raised over $40,000 to aid in the construction of new wells to ensure greater clean water access. Liza’s efforts made possible, among other things, the development of water wells throughout Tanzania and Nicaragua.
