Gabe’s study of the Holocaust led him to an exploration and understanding of the genocides that continue to take place around the world and he was inspired to take action. He organized annual community walks to raise awareness and much-needed aid for young refugees in Darfur, the Congo, and other places where genocide has ravaged the population. Gabe has served as a passionate advocate for anti-genocide efforts and engagement and has brought many others to advocate on behalf of victims of genocide.
