During the pandemic, a closet cleanout had Brooke stuffing bags full of clothing to be dropped off at a local shelter. She wondered how she might improve upon the clothing donation process, especially for young women and girls like herself who might derive great self-confidence and self-expression from the clothing they wear. That’s when the idea for SheStyles was born. Brooke, along with her sister and co-founder Jolie, began soliciting, sorting, tagging, and hanging clothing donations.

Six clothing racks and five volunteers later, they hosted the inaugural SheStyles Pop-up Shop in the parking lot of the Saban Community Clinic in Los Angeles. To date, they have hosted ten pop-up clothing events that have served over 750 young women and distributed more than 4,000 articles of clothing with dignity and joy.

Everyone, regardless of their circumstances, should have access to clothing that makes them feel good.

She Styles logoSheStyles elevates and personalizes the clothing donation process to empower girls and young women facing hardship. Partnering with select nonprofits, they provide communities with free pop-up “shopping experiences” that empower women and girls with the dignity of choice, and the self-esteem boost that comes with new clothes that authentically represent who they are. Since 2022, SheStyles has served over 750 young women and distributed more than 4,000 articles of free clothing.
